Description
2004 UK VHS and DVD
In this new feature length special, Bob the Builder and his team of machines travel to the Winter Games in snowy Bobblesberg. Their job is to build a log cabin for the Bobsville Mayoress but a huge snow storm hits and leaves the event building machines stranded en route.
Team leader Scoop is joined by brand new characters Benny and Zoomer for their biggest ever challenge. This star studded adventure features Winter Games - TV commentators Sue Barker, John Motson and Jana (Ulrika Jonsson) as the games organiser. There's lots to do and the clock is ticking. Can they build it? Find out in Snowed Under: The Bobblesberg Winter Games.
Plot
Bob and the gang leave their home town of Bobsville and head for its snowy and mountainous twin town, Bobblesberg. Bobblesberg is hosting the Winter Games and Bob is asked to build a magnificent log cabin for Bobsville's mayor. Wendy is busy practising for the skiing event, so Bob appoints Scoop as second-in-command to help prepare for the Winter Games. Meanwhile, Scarecrow Spud is a secret stowaway. Benny, a special digger comes to the team's aid when the rest of the special machines are snowed under. When Muck, Dizzy and Roley are assigned to help Scoop with his build, that's when his cranky side rears its hideous head. Oh no! Can they fix it in time? Let's hope so.

Bloopers
Snowed Under: The Bobblesberg Winter Games is the only special to have bloopers. On the UK DVD of the special, the bloopers are called 'Funny Bits and Bobs'.
- The machines are cheering that they got everything done in time, but Eli starts to skate and he does a split. Everyone laughs. (Note: Seventh blooper in the UK version)
- John, amazed by Wendy's ski jump, is unaware that a snowman is behind him. Sue appears, watching from the studio and laughing while John is taken by surprise.
- Mr. Beasley is seagull watching at the docks and a seagull lands and starts doing a dance. Three more seagulls join him, one of whom eventually flies away, and Mr. Beasley is surprised to see this and he gets one of the seagulls' droppings on his glasses. The US version has narration from Bob at the beginning saying "Mr. Beasley got more than he bargained for when he went seagull watching at Bobington Harbour."
- Sue, John and the cameraman are on the chair lift. (Note: US version only)
- Bob is spray painting the log cabin, but his paint sprayer is not working properly. He taps at it but he gets paint on himself.
- Spud rolls down the hill and turns into a snowball. (Note: Fourth blooper in the UK version)
- John's cell phone rings, causing cell phone interference in the studio. He answers it and initally forgets to open it, but he then opens it. He tells the person on the other end of the phone "I'm in a studio at the moment. Can I phone you back?" Sue asks him if it's his mother again, but it's clearly his wife, as he calls her "Lovey". He hangs up and apologizes to the viewers while Sue puts her head down in annoyance before they continue with the show.
- Zoomer says "Zoom, zoom, zoom". Then, he gets snow on the camera. (Note: US version only)
- Wendy is walking up the ski run, but since it's hard to walk around in ski boots, she falls down and laughs. (Note: UK version only; second blooper) (Note 2: A picture from this blooper can be seen in the credits)
- Sue is announcing Wendy is next on the slopes and passes it over to John, but as he says "That's right, Sue. It's a big day for her.", the children are having a snowball fight and they accidentally throw one at him. They all laugh. (Note: UK version only; fifth blooper)
- The children are on a frozen lake practicing their ice-skating and they fall over, with narration from Spud. (Note: UK version only; sixth blooper)
