Trivia

  • Some television guide sites incorrectly list this series airing between 4 June to 27 August 1999 for the UK.
  • This series will be the last time Wendy wears her red skirt and green, yellow and white suit jacket.
  • This was the first series where Wendy worked as a full time builder.
  • This series marks the first appearances of Mrs. Broadbent, Fin and Mrs. Percival.
    • Mr. Beasley and Mr. Bentley are also mentioned in this season prior to their debuts.
  • This is the first series to be released in 16:9 widescreen, as the first series was also filmed in 16:9 widescreen, but had been mastered in a 4:3 full-screen aspect ratio. VHS releases, certain UK/AUS DVDs and US masters of the second series remained in 4:3 full-screen ratio.
  • This is the first series in which the closing credits was cut to 30 seconds instead of 40 seconds.
  • This series was re-shown on Qubo in the US on 7 October 2020, though the episodes used the UK dub. This was likely done due to the US dub still being owned by NBC Universal and Qubo acquired the series from WildBrain which owns the UK dub.
  • Spud the Superwrench and Tea Set Travis have yet to be released on home media in the US, however both episodes have been archived, first by Kristopher Walker.
  • The episodes in this series were aired in production order on ABC Kids (Australia), PBS KIDS Sprout and Qubo Channel.
  • This series was most likely filmed from Spring to October 1999.
