The eighteenth series of Bob the Builder is the second and last series of Ready, Steady, Build!, as well as the final series of the original Bob the Builder show to date. It premiered in the UK between September 26 to October 5, 2011 on CBeebies.

In the US, it premiered between September 3 to November 5, 2011 on PBS and debuted on Sprout in 2013 and later on Universal Kids in 2019.

  • Both The Legend of the Golden Hammer and The Big Dino Dig were aired as the latter half of this season, despite both miniseries being released and taking place before this season.
  • Later episodes were shown in the US before airing in the UK.
  • This series was shown on Universal Kids in the US in 2019.
  • This makes the first of a few things:
    • The first series in where Splasher and Pirate Brickbeard does not appear since their introductions.
    • The first series in where Ella and Mrs. Toosie do not speak since their introductions.
  • Sprout airings use the UK version of the theme song, but with US vocals.
  • Due to being the final series of the original Bob the Builder show from 1999-2011 to date, this series marks the final occurrence of several things:
