The sixteenth series is the seventh and last series of Project: Build It premiered in the UK between August 5 to 26, 2008 on CBeebies. In the US, the sixteenth series premiered between November 8, 2008 to February 14, 2009 on PBS and reran on the channel until the early 2010s.
A special was also released on home video on November 3, 2008 for the UK and on January 9, 2009 for the US.
