Scratch Goes Solo is the sixteenth episode of Bob the Builder: Ready, Steady, Build!.

Plot

It all starts out where the team is at their sheds and Scratch tells everyone that he wants a solo job, then Bob and Wendy come and tells the team that they're gonna build a school roof so the children can go to School and then the team leaves they head to the school. Ela shows everyone the bell Sunny asks what it does.

Scratch asks Wendy if there's a solo job he can do and Wendy says he can plant Farmer Pickles' flower and Dizzy says he can take the bell in case he gets lonely so Scratch heads to Farmer Pickles then he gets to work, meanwhile the other team works on the roof then we go back to Scratch working he decides to see the other machines so he heads to the School.

Roley asks him if he had finish his solo job yet, and Scratch says not yet and he leaves and Dizzy reminds him if he does get lonely he has to ring the bell then the team works again and Scratch keeps working he hears Muck and Scoop talking and he goes to them and Scratch builds a machine out of dirt and then he gets stuck he was lonely and he couldn't ring the bell then we go to the machines Scoop asks if he heard the bell yet?

Lofty says not yet and Scratch is still stuck he asks two squirrels to ring the bell for him so they ring the bell and and Dizzy hears the bell and so do the other machines so they went to see Scratch Scoop asks what happned and Scratch tells everyone what happened Muck tells him that we all get lonely sometimes and Dizzy says his digging was brilliant so they head back to the school and Ella even lets Scratch ring the bell.

  • This is one of the rare occasions where the phrase, “Can we build it? Yes we can!”, followed by Lofty’s “Er/Uh, yeah, I think so”, isn’t said.
