Robert "Rob" Rackstraw (born in Sunderland, England, on 31st October 1965) is a British voice actor who was one of the original cast members in the UK and US dub of Bob the Builder. Other credits include "Dennis the Menace and Gnasher", "Thomas & Friends" (series 19-24), "Angelina Ballerina", "The Octonauts", "Sheeep", "The Koala Brothers", "The Mr. Men Show", "Sooty's Amazing Adventures" and "Sooty Heights".

  • From 2015 to 2021, Rackstraw was in both the UK and US voice casts from The Adventure Begins to the twenty-fourth series of Thomas & Friends.
  • Both Rob Rackstraw and Jimmy Hibbert had both voiced characters in Avenger Penguins (with Lorelei King), Fantomcat (with Lorelei King), Sooty's Amazing Adventures, the television adaptions of Wyrd Sisters and Soul Music (with Neil Morrissey), Lavender Castle (with Kate Harbour), Foxbusters, The Tales of Little Grey Rabbit, Dr Otter, The Lampies and Tom which are all the same shows.
  • Both Rob Rackstraw and Rupert Degas had both voiced characters in The Amazing World of Gumball and Thomas & Friends.
  • Some TV sites incorrectly list him for voicing Roley and Scruffty in the UK dub when it was really Neil Morrissey.
