Lofty's Banana Tree is the eighth episode of the sixteenth series.
Plot
The machines build a hot house in Bobland Bay so they can grow tropical plants, and Lofty splits his time between the construction and taking care of a banana tree, though it ended in disaster when he refuses Flex's help.

- This episode was skipped in Japan. It is the last Bob the Builder: Project: Build It episode to do so.
- This is the first time when Lofty has a plant as his friend. Lofty befriended a banana tree in which he calls it 'Mr. Banana Tree'. This is also Muck’s last non-speaking role in Project: Build It as well as in the stop motion era.
Goofs
- When Bob chuckles for a split second, Lofty's crane is up automatically which could see the hook for a bit.
