Bob and the Bandstand is the seventh episode of the fourth series.
Plot
Bob is busy refurbishing the bandstand on which Farmer Pickles is set to conduct. But when Travis loses the sheet music, it appears that the show will have to be cancelled. But Spud starts to make paper planes with it. Only when Bob introduces a new band - The Machines - and the sheet music if found, albeit in paper plane form, the day is saved and the concert goes ahead.

- Despite airing in 2001, this episode was produced in 2000 according to the UK credits.
- Some TV guides incorrectly list this episode as airing in October 2000 for the UK thought it was released on VHS on that date.
- This is the last episode by both Teddy Kempner and Andy Secombe.
- This is the last episode to use the original 1997-2001 3D HiT Entertainment logo at the end of the credits, although widescreen prints of this episode have this logo plastered with the 2001-2007 HiT Entertainment logo.
- According to itunes, this episode premiered on Nick Jr. (UK and Ireland) in February 2001 before airing on BBC in October 2001. It was also released months early on VHS in late October 2000.
- This is Muck’s first non-speaking role.
- This episode's plot was partially used in the video game Fix it Fun!. Kempner and Secombe were credited for it.
- This episode was paired with Roley & The Rock Star (Series 4) when it first premiered in North America and Latin America.
- Lofty was the only machine to not make music.
